Arizona is my favorite state, even if I don't live there right now. I was born in Navapache Hospital in the Show Low / Lakeside / Pinetop area of the White Mountains. I've been back a few times after I moved away in 1983, before I entered the 4th grade of elementary school (I know, I'm dating myself). I've always loved the city of Show Low, the story about how it was involved in a game of cards, and the scenery in the area, despite the recent forest fires. Oh, and I also lived in Wagon Wheel (which I don't think exists anymore) and in Linden. Does anybody live in Show Low? Were you born there like I was, but moved away? I'd love to hear your perspective on my favorite town.
