Since we've got to choose our own avatars, I've noticed that some males who didn't have an established avatar from the old site, chose circular objects as their avatar. I am wondering if there is any significance in identifying with a circle...
I am asking about the significance of circles, so don't expect me to know about yours... If I had to guess tho, I think hexagons may signify a lack of sanity.
Thanks a lot, g! :toetap05: I'll remember that you called me crazy next time you need me to be text accessible.
They say not to put birds in any circular cages, as it drives them crazy. I can see that. I would go crazy ina circle myself.
I feel sick and dizzy ad nauseous from thinking about living ina circle shape. I think I need to go lay down now, before going out with dogs. WOW! I will have maybe 20 minutes to lay down now......
I love Yggdrasils avatar is beautiful. It would make a good tattoo I think. Extremely culturally significant to me. If anybody ever question what Irminsul was, it's Yggdrasils avatar, the pillar. That is the Irminsul. It sat upon many grounds of the old Saxon world and I gather few times a year at the Externsteine to mourn over it. But that particular picture I like the deer and the symbolization of the knotwork as roots anchored. That's my interpretation anyway hehe. I really want a tattoo of it in black.
i don't think there's any gender thing about it. circles are just wholeness. completeness. a state of genearlly being at peace.
