this is true. the internet is far too useful of a tool for social activism. a true hippy would be sitting in their basement smoking pot talking about being socially active, not actually doing anything about it.

 

Very true. Just like real hippies don't drive buses neither, the true ones only walk or go by bicycle.

 

My husband lived that life style most of his twenties. He followed the dead and chose to be homeless, camped out with people with weird made up names and all that stuff.
He'll prob be happy to answer questions about it if you want. He loves to talk and I've already heard his stories .

 

He also had a VW bus, but I think he got that after Dead tour because he walked and hitched rides during dead tour.
