:H I heard that this year the National will be held in Kentucky/Virginia area..hopefully I can attend...but, I don't really go to Florida gathering for several reasons
1. too ,too hot ( it just sweat city)
2. the cops are just too racist ( I'm a soul sister)
3. drinking water ( the lack there of...)
4. bugs...the kinds that thinks your food...

I host a micro-mini kitchen called "Intercityvisionary" hence my tag...specialize in Afrocentric vegan cooking and just damn tasty viddles and just something different in the woods...

 

Ocala happens every year, same time every time.

Not in February. It could get as cold as the high 20s, but no warmer than the high 70s. Only time of year it's not "sweat city" in Central FL.

Hope this does not scare you away from the Annual in July, but I'd be more worried about racist cops in the Appalachains than in FL. Our biggest Problem Fed LEO at Ocala is this Black butthole, Campbell, I think is his name. Perhaps you could talk some sence into him, if you were there.

We truck in city water in big water tanks now. Water is not a problem.

Once again, February is not a problem in the only month in the year that this is not a problem.

Sounds yummy. Hope you make it to the Gathering this July, if not to Florida. Rainbow Family is way too much a Suburban Young White Male thing, IMO. Sounds like you would make a valuable addition.
