Into strength training? It's hard to find them since women tend to be afraid of "getting muscular." I do German Volume Training and running, and love the shape it's given me. Still curvy, just in all the right places ;).

    Definition isn't bulk, automatically.

I don't train, but I have clients who do.

To me the goal is to be good or get better at something, strength is the by-product not the goal.

I love strength training. Solid core and a some impressive arms.
Back in my Kendo days, my arms were friggn' cut. I miss that.
    I've become too lazy.

OK--not a lady, but since I had a serious operation a few years back, I have gained some weight around my middle. Looks weird because years of roofing kept me built right. Can a person concentrate some type of execise to lose weight primarily in that area?

I'm sorry if this is off the ladies topic.

I didn't see this thread after I posted!

I love being strong. I don't look muscular though, because I've never focused on cutting. My legs are really the only things that are obviously muscular.

Manservant, that's awesome! I admire the dedication it takes to really cut. I'm sill soft with strong underneath. I'm fine with that for now lol.

Lol scratcho! To answer your question, there's no way to focus on weight loss in one area. Your body will store fat wherever it feels like. All over strength will be the most effective :)
