Well it seems spring is now finally starting to settle in with an element of summer in the air which has been great to be out barefoot. Its still only around 10 C and the sun hasn't quite warmed up the ground so still a little cool under foot but it feels great.

Been put to the supermarket this morning barefoot which wasn't very pleasant then back home and did some yard work.

I'll be going for a nice walk in the afternoon sun later today.

We don't have too much of a winter in southeast Texas so you can be barefoot some year round.

I'm out and about today. Barefoot of course. Lockdown eased a bit and shops open. No problems.

Most recently at a nearby playground, where I go do pull-ups. Walked on the sand there now that the snow is finally gone. The ground is still very cold though, we're still seeing night time temperatures of -2 Celsius (=28.4 Fah).

Back to full time in Florida.

Too much nonsense this last year with the pandemic and all, had long shoe lapse over the winter.

Its seemed like all it took was some daily barefoot hikes to get my all terrain feet back but they weren't back only the tougher skin.

Now after a few months the muscle and padding underneath is back. That might be why the side, the lateral longitudinal arch, doesn't touch the ground with enough pressure to get dirty anymore. The extra padding on the forefoot and heel. I don't know.

Pet store yesterday. Went to the beach today. Usually park about a mile away and don't take any footwear with me. Beyond that, haven't gotten back to pre-covid levels of public barefooting yet.

I’ve done a couple of country walks, I won’t bother with shops again until the awful covid rules and door people have gone, just building up slowly after a winter in shoes. I did a walk last week that was torture, the ground was so hard and ended up having to walk through a bed of nettles and a gravel track. Back out today for a 4 mile walk through some woodland and hills. Thankfully that was better but we do need rain.

I can relate. After a very nice week, we're about to be hit by a blackberry winter.

I practically own no shoes now, so it's a given for me. But I've spotted a guy who is always barefoot too. People told me about him and I've crossed his path a couple of times. He owns a theatre I've been told.

Had an amazing morning barefoot in Clumber Park today. Got there at dawn and covered 13 miles of deliciously damp, dewy, cool then warm, boggy, grassy, and wooded miles. The bluebells were out and it was lovely to be in woodland for the dawn chorus. There’s no way I could cover that mileage in shoes, being barefoot gives you more reason to keep walking when the terrain is giving you a gorgeous reflexology session. Hope everyone else is able to enjoy the spring

Went hiking yesterday after the gym. Bare of course, gravel, mud etc. 3.2 miles.

Mowed barefoot yesterday, wicked stained feet now. It will wear off this weekend.

Sounds wonderful! Yes, I know the feeling. In boots your feet are getting hot, sweaty and blistered. In bare feet you just want to go on and on. Where is Clumber Park?
