Any North Carolina peeps out there ??

Been awhile since I've been on the forums. Hope all my fellow Tarheels

are having an awesome day. So, what's up in your neck of the woods
or OB as it may be ?

 

What's OB?
It keeps going from warm to cold ... I can't wait for spring to really arrive and go dancing at the drums circles again.
I'm pretty lonely a lot of times and wish I knew how to meet some cool nice people here.

Yep @ Ryvr. Definately mixed up weird weather we're having. I'm ready
for Spring, that's for sure. Heard Asheville is an awesome city, atmosphere
wise. Lots of artist, hippie, types. Used to pass through there going to Cherokee.
Maybe one day we'll make it and actually visit for a few.

 

yeah the weather is killing me..the past two days its been clody off and on with wind so strong it was nocking out the power lol but today its looking pretty nice

Today turned out pretty nice....So glad it did. We went to Virginia.
Nothing against Virginia but man am I glad to be back in North Carolina.
Main thing was I didn't like the traffic. Put me out in the middle of no
where with no one even 100 miles near me and I'd love it. Nothing
against people. I just love nature and breathing in clean air and no
traffic and only the music of Mother Earth.

 

Anyone from Gastonia area come here? I live in Cherryville, which is about 20 minutes out of Shelby, 40 minutes out of Gastonia, an hour from Charlotte and so on. I just moved here in January so ... still getting the feel of the place. I like it though.

lol that reminds me of the time it took us 65 hours to get from winston to boone!!! the driver didnt take 421 just stayed on 40 untill we got to teneseee then we almost ran out of gas, then almost went to VA then aroung 8 got to boone!!!

oh and the real bitch was that that chick ony drove so we could get there early..we were supposed to arrive around 5, but then it turned out my other ride (that drives it twice every weekend) would have been able to leave 30min later than we did!

so what are some good places to hang out or see or do in Asheville? Ive heard Rosetta's kitchen is a good place to eat.... and I know there is supposed tobe a hippie scene there ... so who lives there and can tell more about that
