Any Love for REM ?

one of the best American bands ever and yet I hardly hear anything about them on Hip ?

My favorite ( although there are many )

 

I like them. "Man on the Moon" is a cool song.

When I was in boarding school in the 90's they were one of the bands deemed acceptable for students to listen to, so I heard plenty of their music when I was 13 and 14.

 

They are from sort of near me.

 

the one i love gets played often on my favourite radio station

i find them quite annoying except for that one

What about Metallica.

 

Liked Metallica up through the Black album. They kind of lost me after that.

Perhaps if I listen to their newer stuff more I might like it. Last one I heard was "Load", wasn't real into it though.

 

Not really a big fan but they do have a couple of good songs like Losing my Religion and The One i Love

I also LOVE REM....what a great band that originated in Athens, GA
Athens was a hot bed of musical talent much like Seattle during the
