Since baseball season is coming to an end I am looking to start attending hockey games. Luckily there is a pro hockey team right across the freeway from where I see my baseball team play. I know some of the ruels but not all of em. What team do you root for? WH do you like hockey? Thanks!
I'm Rooting for the Sabres. I like the pace of the game, even at its slowest moments, it is constantly in motion. I find myself zoned intontge game and out of the world around me when I watch.

Red wings were first team I chose on playstation NHL97, followed em ever since. I don't watch too much of it though. I do when I can, it's pretty gnarly. Fun fact, I chose my sports teams for Soccer and NFL on the same years games, Madden 97 and Fifa 97 I chose Broncos and Liverpool. From that day I literally gave my soul to the Broncos. 18 years later I got to go to a game and they lost and I was so annoyed, but then they won the superbowl same year so all good. We watched Peyton Manning break the all time record for pass yards in that game, a piss ass 4 yard pass before he got benched for Osweiler. No, my first game didn't go so well. Since I'm a late nineties fan of the Red Wings I only remember Steve Yzerman! That dude was a gun in the games haha and the goalie Oslo I think.
Boston Bruins fan. Why do i like hockey, because like our Canadian cousins to our north we eat, sleep, and drink, hockey in this area of the country. Grew up playing street hockey, but only played ice hockey a few times because I was more of a basketball - football player.
I love hockey. Not as much as basketball, but still. And since I came to it later in life, I never really was much of a fan of the Boston Bruins. I became a Kings fan because their affiliate team was based in Manchester NH. In fact, I remember seeing Jonathan Quick play before he was anybody. It just seemed a natural progression to be a Kings fan.
I still havent made it to a hockey game. But I forsure will within the next month or two. I found out that ducks fans have drinks at the same local brewery as Angels fans do before baseball games. Then walk over to each others respective stadium/arena.
I'm a recent fan. I don't really go crazy for sports aside from watching the Olympics. But I was invited to a Panthers vs. Canucks game last week and I really enjoyed it. I'd go again but I'm too broke right now lol
Bruins are plagued with injuries this year but are still only 5 points out of first place in the Atlantic division of the eastern conference
