I don't get the whole toe-ring thing. I go barefoot because I can't stand having anything on my feet. Something constricting such as rings strikes me as just what I'm trying to avoid.
This was my reply from 7.5 years ago. Since then, I am now wearing anklets on both ankles and 1 ring on each foot. I have also experimented with nail polish. All 10 is too much work and I don't care for the look all that much, but doing just the big toes in a flat black or gray looks okay. I'm currently still recovering from a foot injury that damaged the nail and am not wearing polish right now due to the chemicals.
I always have both my toes and fingers painted and I wear a lot of toe rings, anklets, barefoot sandals etc.. I love dressing up my feet. I’m a full time barefooter and proud of it and love to show it off.
Painted two guys at camp this past weekend, fingers and toes, sparkley blue and toes on another pink that glows in the dark. Two womens toes also. They call me Twinkle Toes or T2!
Few years ago we baby-sat one of my wife's cousin's daughters while she was in Afghanistan for six months. Toe nails were painted weekly and barefoot or flip flops were weekend Required by her.
I’ve worn pretty much this very color plus my wife’s red. I don’t paint my toenails often though and, when I do, it’s when I have a virtual 100% certainty of not seeing anyone I know.
I have painted my toes red and a light gray and I do get a lot of looks and comments a lot of good comments and a few bad comments. But I did have a guy ask me questions about my toes being painted I told him that I like my toes painted and I do get a lot of positive comments about my toes being painted the next time a saw that guy his toes were painted and he was also barefoot and he said that after talking to me about being barefoot full time and my toes being painted he started going barefoot and painted his toes and he told me that it’s the best change in his life that feels great and that he always wanted to be himself . He was always shy about being himself
I walked into the nail salon and there was a guy with painted toes. I am not special! I got a great color this time!
