Would it be possible to make a block-function on PMs, Penny? I think that would be a good Idea. I think we should suggest Skip to make such a block-function.
I can write a mail and suggest him, if folks in here agree with me?

I know You are right, after reviewing my thread, I thought perhaps that wasn't the best way to meet people to talk about Europe. Any way of Correcting the title?

I know about the problem with spam-worms looking through websites for e-mail addresses, but why block PMs on the forum? Do they send spam through there now too? What kind of block are you talking about anyway? I don't see why anyone would disagree with a block of certain senders, but are you talking a no-PMs-at-all block?

    peace

No, I'm not talking about commercial spam. But I think a lot of people often get harassments from other people on their PM (because the public cant witness harassment in your PM). I'm not receiving threats or nasty thing like that on my PM myself, but I can imagine that, especially, many girls often get sexual harrassed on their PMs, but keeping this bad experience personal, isolated and in silence.
I think harassment is a bigger problem than we think. Harassed people often dont speak up about it. That's why I suggest to make it possible for people in here to block assholes that continues posting their perverted PMs.

There is a way to stop getting PM's from some people - just put them in your ignore list. I think, I'm not sure, that they can't see when you're online either.

(Isn't it a new feature? It wasn't possible to ignore PMs in the old hipforums, was it?)
