I can identify with that.
In my opinion sexual preferences are not so much male/female as effeminate/masculine.
I am attracted to femininity. And that can include effeminate men. I live heterosexual, and am 100% comfortable doing so. But I would be lying if I didn't say some "girly guys" turn me on. They do. I also have a feminine side to me. Day to day at work etc. I am a stereotypical guy. I am also far more alpha than beta, buuut... I like shopping. I love picking out clothes for women. My wife never wants to go shopping without me because I am better at picking women's clothing than most women are! I like brighter colors on me than most guys wear.
I am very affectionate, and more attentive than most men. I am comfortable in a room of women as much as a room of men.

As I stated in my OP, I don’t generally get sexually aroused from dressing. I just like how I look and feel. When dressed I feel much more sexy or sensual than in mens clothing. I’m generally less likely to masturbate in women's clothes than men’s. As I feel sexy or feel sensuous, I want to share it and my wife is generally the beneficiary of that.
