Any "cool folk connections" in Northern California?

I like the sound of that, "cool folk connections". Are you one of the cool folk? I always thought I was cool, playing guitar and singing in bands and solo too. I think that is how many musicians start out, especially guitarists. I might not be playing live these days, but I still feel cool every time I pick up an instrument.

Do you feel cool? What activity do you engage in that makes you feel like one of the Cool Folk of Northern California? Why? Where do you believe is the line between Northern and Central California? Sacramento, maybe? I'm in Lake County. I'd love a "Cool Connection" with someone!
