What's odd about it? He's playing to his base, as usual.

I wonder what Hillary's State Of The Union Address would have sounded like.

You can clearly see the division and resentment in the room.

He is so incoherent and inarticulate, that I'm just going to wait for the press conference so Sarah Huckabee Sanders can translate his verbal vomit for me.

Didn't much care for the fighting drugs and drug dealers bit. Of course, it’s a super unpopular opinion to just throw in the towel on the drug war. Nobody with the good opinion on that will ever become president.

One other thing worth mentioning was none of the black congressmen applauded the fact that black unemployment is at an all time low

It was the enthusiastic emphasis he conveyed whilst saying it. Everyone knows there’s No such thing as beautiful clean coal. So why even say it like that?

“Americans are dreamers too” is probably gonna piss off so many people It’ll be unreal

If the choice comes down to coal or nuclear, go with nuclear. Yeah it produces some pretty nasty stuff, but it is smaller in volume than coal byproducts and containable. We just have to figure out what to do with the waste for the next million years.

Because he keeps taking credit for it when it was cut in half under the Obama administration

Not obvious to those who aren't interested in knowing what they're talking about.

Every president takes credit for the inherited success of the previous one while simultaneously blaming them for the inherited problems. The problem with this idiot is his destructive policies, overt bigotry, obvious treason and abject incompetence

I was more referring to the confusion as to why certain lawmakers weren't pleased with Trump's taking credit for historic low black unemployment.

Trump knows he's full of shit, obviously. It's the vincible ignorance of his supporters that is concerning.

Yeah for sure he left out some important context, facts, truth in some cases, and that’s annoying.

I don’t know what he knows. He’s got a host of significant psychological problems plus likely some dementia. It’s hard to know what’s going on in his head

Joe Kennedy III was a good choice for the Democrat rebuttal speech. Somebody to watch as an up and coming star: bright, articulate, personable, good (is somewhat Leprechaun) looks, and of course the family name.

None of which has any baring on politics whatsoever. I mean, bright, okay...but who cares if he is a personable and good-looking Kennedy? He can either right the ship or he can't.

Meaning...anyone who wants to end the war on drugs could never be president? Izzat what you're saying?

Probably, but that was one of the few things he said that didn't make me cringe.

It's funny how after slamming us with all this identity politics for the last 4 years, they pick one of the richest most privileged white males to spearhead their new image.
