  1. I have a lens that melts barbies head to toe in under a minute on a sunny day, that is the anti-barbie

hippychickmommy, i think they started making barbies boobs smaller since when you were a kid (i'm not sure exactly what year it was..but i think it was fairly recent)

OMG the sunshine family! i had them!!! i loved them. i liked the woman's body. she had small boobs and even when i was a kid i liked that better than barbie.

i have a feral cheryl. i also have a daughter, but feral cheryl is mine. i let my daughter play with her sometimes.

my daughter plays with barbies and she has some of the ho dolls too.i hate those dolls too, but she likes them.and the thing is, she plays with her shoes and paper clips as well. she plays with anything...any object is a toy to her, she makes it a person and talks to it. she's not going to pattern herself after a paper clip is she? or a pair of shoes? i just feel like it's not worth making a big deal out of...they're just toys.

i had a growing up skipper! a neighbor boy broke it by twisting her arm too much, lol.
do you remember tiffany taylor? you could turn her scalp around and change her from a blonde to a brunette. kinda creepy, lol! (edited to add that i may have 2 different dolls confused. trying to remember the dolls my sister and i had in 1975 is hard, lol!)

Wow, I must have been pretty sheltered. *lol* I knew nothing about either one of those dolls! I had a Skipper doll, but she was just a regular run of the mill Skipper doll. And the Tiffany Taylor doll? Never even heard about it until now!

I loved the American Girl dolls! I honestly think I played with those more than Barbie. I read all the books a bazillion times.

I never had the American Girl dolls. I think my little sister might have (she's 18) but I know I didn't have any. *sighs* Am I getting old or something? ;)
