If I knew in advance, I would say all my goodbyes and I love you's before the last day. Then I would travel to be with my spirit guide Deanna and spend my last day with her. I just asked her in my mind, and she said, "I would do that."

Having been a lot closer to that day than most people, I can honestly say when you think you might die, you're in so much pain you hurt too much to do much. It surprised me that I didn't have an urge to make peace with my siblings or anyone else. I let them reach out to me, and I'd let it happen again. You'd be shocked how cold people are, and yet how loving some of them are. It blows you away.

What is the worst thing you've ever done to another human being?

 

I'd spend it reading 'Leaves of Grass' by Walt Whitman. And all the other poetry I love so dearly.

My spirit guide Deanna actually did think she was dying of cancer for a long time. She told me a couple of times that she was dying. I wept and ranted in my initial grief. She blew me off (outwardly) and got herself a local boyfriend. Understandable, I suppose. Then a miracle: She ended up testing cancer-free. Then she broke up with her boyfriend (I knew he was not right for her) and paid more outward attention to me again. And ya know: Even if I was wracked in grief and pain, I still think I'd want to spend that last day in her company. Hell, she's given ME enough grief, she could damn well put up with MY dying agonies for one day.

I think that would either be divorcing my first wife, or marrying my current one - it's a tough choice.
