My mum was engaged to another man when she met my dad, my dad said he fell in love with her the first time he saw her, After a while she fell for him too, the break up of her engagment caused a rift in the family for a while, but then it was ok. She once showed me a picture of her boy friend before my dad, I think she chose right, my dad is more handsome lol !

when was the first time you ever went on a plane?

 

i think the year was 1977.... went to spain with my friend and would you believe, there was a fire onboard which i discovered... i didn't start it... i promise it was at a time when you could still smoke on planes and the person infront of me had put their fag in an ashtray that had lost its back and got into the chair upholstery!!!

it was kinda funny cos i stay quite calm in really dodgy situations so was politely trying to get the air-hostesses attention... when i finally got it, smoke was billowing BIGTIME and she really panicked... we all survived though
