This picture was taken in Enoshima, a little town not too far from Yokohama. It has lots of temples and a beach - not a very good beach, but it's nice seeing a beach. Here I am:

Jetblack, I got a job teaching English in Japan. I've been living here since October, and I like being here and teaching English, although there are days I don't like the job (but I think that's the same for everyone). Randomuserhaha, unfortunately, I've never seen Real World Seattle.

 

Dude I'm so jealous of you. I've always wanted to go to Japan and you get to live there! Grrr... I hear its very very expensive to live there. Any truth to that?

 

Why are you in Japan? Are you in the military? I spent a year in Korea back in the 70's.

 

Japan can be a very expensive place to live. But I make enough money to survive. Olhippie54, I teach English in Japan (I'd never ever join the military) for a Japanese company (I hate that word, but it is a fuckin' company). I enjoy being in Japan a lot, although I'm not exactly sure how much longer, I'll be here. As for Japan being expensive, plenty of shit here is expensive (such as movie tickets, eating at a good restaurant, etc.), but there are plenty of cheap ways to have fun (one of which is NOT drinking several beers a night).
