Roseburg Oregon, 10 dead, 20 wounded.....This is another mass shooting caused by the NRA buying congress to keep assault weapons legal. The NRA is the biggest criminal organization in the United States.

Nothing wrong with the guns, just the people who're using them for the wrong reasons.

This hits close to home, literally :bigcry:

I guess someone forgot to inform the killer that Umpqua Community College was a gun free zone.

Isn't that where all the news comes from? They all get it off of the AP wire, it's always the same story.

I have guns. Sorta need 'em in the wilderness. Usually to make a loud enough noise to send the occasional bear to another part of the mountain.. or to scare mountain lions off my chickens. I'm a totally non-violent gun owner. I don't kill anything with them.

It was incredibly easy to obtain these guns. I bought one at frikken' Walmart! That should scare somebody. Sheesh. Walmart.

I dunno what the answer is. How do you keep guns out of the hands of wackaloons? I wish someone would figure it out, though. And I wish the NRA would magically disappear.

I wish Obama wasn't making such an issue to accomplish gun control before he leaves office.

The gun I shoot the most is a CO2 BB pistol with no BBs. The noise is more than enough to drive away everything the woods can send us as well as the occasional neighbor's mutt.

That wouldn't take care of a rabid raccoon in your carport though.

He was a nobody, who wanted his 15 minutes of fame – sad

In a blog linked to that identity, he expressed admiration for Roanoke shooter Vester Flanagan: The former black news reporter who shot and killed his former co-workers.

People “like Vester have nothing left to live for,“I have noticed that so many people like him are all alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are...A man who was known by no one, is now known by everyone. His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day. Seems the more people you kill, the more you're in the limelight.”

At first this article didn’t make any sense until I read his father is Caucasian, while Harper-Mercer’s mother, Laurel Harper, is African American -
-So he could easily identify with Vester Flanagan

Here's an idea: How about setting it up so the NRA receives federal funding from the US Government, just like how Planned Parenthood receives federal funding. That way, we can make sure everyone can receive tax-paid gun safety classes and reduce gun crime that way. It's the liberal thing to do.
