Ya I used to have some form of an eating disorder, I did vomit afew times but it was mostly under eating and exercising.
I use to have eating disorders... When I was younger. I wouldn't eat at all just to get skinny. And I just recently got over Bulimia, about a 3 years ago. I threw up if I felt guilty about over eating. I struggled growing up cause I was shorter and thicker. It's all really silly though. I don't think you should let other people change the way you feel about yourself... Cause that's what truly drives you to self esteem problems. I'm defiantly learning healthy methods in maintaining a good size. I beginning to love my body these days.
aww babe, 90 paces west... you're so beautiful. keep a smile on. i never head a disorder except for low selfesteem when iwas younger because i was a puny skinny guy.... positive affirmations are something learned from a book. plus i started going to the gym and getting good exercise and eating right. i dont know which came first, my positive self image or my six pack. but they come hand in hand with treating myself like i'm awesome.
That is definitely the key! And we really should believe that we are awesome, although at least for me, it can be hard at times.
Aw, Well thank you mmg, I am lot better off then I used to be. Society puts things into our head that just shouldn't be relevant ... Like how tiny a woman should be, and how big a man should be... It's not always like that. We are who we are. Antithesis... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oofSnsGkops"]YouTube- James Blunt - You're Beautiful [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
I hope everyone in this thread who has one or did, is doing well with recovery. It took being on a feeding tube at 18 at a low weight (wont post it so i donttrigger anyone) to really realize I needed help. Now Iam doing better, I eat healthy and normal, but I take it one day at a time. Eating disorders arent something you just get over in one day, it takes years at least for me to keep getting better.
