    Thanks. I can see that.

I think that it also may not only be our state that we're annoyed by, but rather are annoyed because of the state of mind we're operating from.

You can always run, hide, and be fearful of this "outside force" - if it was a power that was outside of one's own self, but that doesn't, as you've alluded to, seem to be the case.

    Yes the thought comes first.

There is avoidance but I meant the power to effect change.

Yea', I know. I was agreeing with you with regard to annoyance.

But in general, I can neither agree nor disagree - as I don't know whether or not we can truly affect forces outside of our own selves.

There are those (believers of the bible and other non-believers) that state that it is possible. I mean we learn something new every day of our lives, so that in and of itself should show us that we don't know it all - which is why I find it rather difficult to dismiss any such idea, as "over-the-top" as it may sound.

The way we can affect things is to share a need or a purpose, develop common ground as opposed highlighting differences. We might not know everything but there are certain things we can count on.

I side-stepped into Sci-fi territory there for a second, sorry, but you're right - and I totally agree.

Thanks for sharing, btw. I really appreciate your insight. :)

I've found that people are not much different than dogs. Dogs feed off their master's energy. If their owner is afraid, they will become afraid. If their owner is nervous, they will become neurotic. If their owners are calm, the dog will be relaxed and happy.

Humans also feed off of energy, although to a lesser extent. I've found that I can exert a certain amount of control over others' moods just based on my own mood.

What I was actually leaning towards was the idea that, "like attracts like." And that you attract into your life that which you think about the most. And with the ferocity level that you feel it, will relate to the amount of time "it" develops into your life.

That is an interesting point you make with regard to humans and dogs, tho'. It is pretty odd how dogs sense when you're happy, pissed, sad, etc, and humans are most definitely affected by that same "energy", as well.

Maybe, regardless of what we would prefer, we really are all "one" and connected by the same life force/energy/whatever you want to call it.

I've met a few people who were annoying and had no other redeeming qualities.
