Not really, programs like 3ds max are highly sophisticated and complex and are ray tracing programs. To get any less complex than flash is really also to take away from the powerful features so really you just want a way to make flash movies but without the complexity of flash? I cant help you as I believe flah to be very simple there really isnt anything I could recommend - I use lightwave and 3dmax (used to) but they are vast programs - phew ya got me beat with that one try POVRAY
