i have a super long fuse. MOST people will never actually see my anger. petty squabbling and irritation aside, it's nothing compared to my real ANGER.

Anger is one of my worst demons... not sure I can give much advice here as my struggles = work in progress... likely until I draw my last breath.

I didn't read the whole thread. But if you put trust in someone because you need trust, maybe you were trying to buy their trust with yours.

Same with "love." It doesn't work.

Edit: To answer the original question, I don't "deal" with anger. I just be angry. In my most extreme cases, it will show a modicum of self-destructive or destructive behavior. But it never went beyond cursing a bitch out, or getting blasted drunk (which, if I'm honest, also happens when I'm not angry on both counts).

If people didn't get power-trips from their rage they wouldn't be speaking so passively-highly of it. It may make you feel above the situation that you can break and attack whatever you perceive as "in the way", but, it's precisely that, a power-trip.

It deludes you in ways you don't even begin to understand. I'd say the first prime example, is how everybody tries to eagerly explain to everybody else how "crazy" they get when "they mad yo". It's no longer something they aren't proud of, now it's the opposite. "Look at me losing my cool, I mean business" Lmao. Peepleez. Second, anger doesn't win in high-stress situations that should be handled otherwise, in fact it's the resultant of.

Nice attitude to have at 27, lol, but I guess the numbers don't always matter, right?

We delude ourselves by not forgiving unpleasant past experiences, people are going to be the way they are, regardless of who we are and claim to be, regardless of who they claim to be to us, regardless of what they claim we mean to them, etc etc.

We can interpret any experience in many ways, positively, or negatively, or somewhere on the in between. No way is necessarily right or better, but a few ways can prove to be more beneficial than others. Negativity is never the optimum solution to any given problem, it gives rise to more of itself.
