is so common, when I step back and look at the 'public dialogue' and how it's changed in the last decade, it seems to me it's almost become a popular addiction. so much so that all logic vaporizes. then again, there is the idea that this is how it has always been. maybe communities as a whole resist times of change. i can't imagine the independence movement in the US during the 18th century being any more civil and respectful than what's going on today. i dunno... random thought. http://isitnormal.com/story/i-hate-everyone-19937/
When mediocrity is considered the highest good, ofcourse many people are gonna be angry and hate life.
Lately, I've been trying to get the haters here to provide some backup for their extreme opinions, but they think the whole idea of basing opinions on facts is nuts. It's really sad, but it's a reflection of how we have become such a polarized country, with no room for science and reason.
Science, the way of thinking that was sure the Earth was flat and that drilling a hole in your head to release pressure was a good idea. Reasoning, the way of thinking you are right, until someone who is better at reasoning than you beats you with arguments that make just as little sense.
I feel like we're all trolls now...Just that their are good trolls and dark trolls...Kind of like with elves.
It does seem to be more prevalent in our society. I do wonder though if it is simply just more acceptable to "talk" or "vent" about it now than it was in the past.
Hate's the shrapnel of an explosion inside.. the explosion's because of.. well, look at the state of day to day life, and the state of the world around us in general. It's a desperate cry of humanity.. we can't keep this up, and SOMETHING in us knows it.. not long now I don't think. ^ that was originally about 12 paragraphs. I have been here for more than an hour and a half.. Lol, mary jane...
ya, side effect of too much weed see? :smilielol5: no but seriously, so true in my estimation. i've made it a point to turn off the TV and avoid all the "news" venues for the most part. more music and way less talk is how my listening to radio has changed, and lately it seems like when i do hear or see anything 'mainstream' it just sounds like a bunch of "you're stupid and wrong and i'm right so fuck you".
Anger can be channelled to positive effect. But never having control of your anger is harmful. Hatred will just eat someone from the inside. It serves no useful purpose. Having contempt for someone/something is about right. Just my opinion.
It usually comes from ignorance or feeling attacked in something they feel they can't do nothing about which apparently can make an individual go retardic and abandon all logic and reason.
