I don't have a name for either. But I have noticed that there are two types of morality, especially when it comes to sexual permissiveness. Androcentric and egalitarian. Outwardly androcentric cultures seem sexually open. But it all centers around the man. For example in the Middle Ages prostitution was legal, or at least widely tolerated. But women had few rights. They couldn't own property, and they basically belonged to their husbands. And although sex outside of marriage was tolerated, things like rape were very hard to prove. It was all about the man. More recently I think, societies have an egalitarian morality. Both sexes have equal rights. And so do gays, transgenders, etc. This form is better, I think you'll agree. But what explains this phenomenon? What is it called? And also, on a related note, some cultures are very repressive. Is this better than androcentric? And what explains this? (Last note: plus I think you'll agree some cultures are a little of each. Maybe even a little of all three, if that's possible.)
