meh, i've kinda lost interest in all academia(the arts) at the moment. It's all such bullshit. I guess thats what happens when capitalism gets into education: any actual pursuit of knowledge gets put aside so some academic hacks can get themselves off over some BS study that no one cares about and will offer nothing tangible to the field of study just so they can write a billion things to get tenure and then fly around the world giving talks at other people's expenses.
