So after 9 months of vegging with absolutely 0 signs of masculinity, all but the runt of the grow turned out to be males. But then this is what can happen when using non-feminized seed and only having 1 or two 100w lights to cover 5 plants in veg and nowhere to run cuttings on a 12/12 to properly sex them. (And what happens when the Mrs. gets injured at work and brings home a respiratory infection along with it that laid us up a couple months where everything just sort of had to slide for a while) On the upside I'm still sitting on a fair amount of golden tiger pollen, 3 seeds and maybe a dozen or so more seeds from the runt but it's hard to say for sure 7 weeks into flower, time will tell. Just hoping the leafhoppers die when I dust everything with diatomaceous earth so I can try revegging next month. Not sure but guessing the weird stem growth is due to leafhopper activity? Hoping perhaps the seeds from this will have learned from the experience a bit So given I was still putting on the training wheels when I started this setup I think I'm at least happy with current lighting and growspace configuration, also with the hope of getting a dozen or so more seeds out of the deal.
Nope, just the first run since prop 207 passed in Arizona but have all the parts in place for round two including whats looking like a pretty effective homebrewed liquid fertilizer and set to produce more than I really need for my "primary crop" Mainly the price of seeds had me thinking pollen would be handy or I'd have gone feminized.
Yeah, I can remember when seeds were free with every baggie! And today they're still free with every bag here in Mexico. I've helped others push a few seeds in my day, but never bred. Just get yerself a few good mamas and you'll be set.
