There was the success minded infantry moving along the fabricated roads of the Alsace region in Germany (with the living dispute of becoming French territory: yet another dead possibility). They were following the roads of the country side into the time stricken Black Forest.

The dead soldier was facing the wind from the east side of the road; he was proud too I guess. The tank (panzer) was of nether side, and the soldier was American this time.

The wind from the east preserved his condition of Life for the fighting to win. He wins too.

Or did he die the moment the German bullet hit his chest?:mickey:

with and without faith, soldiers and civilians, die in wars.

this is a good reason not to have them. whatever one's beliefs or lack of them.
