..... And apparently so too has Rishi Sunak for the same reason !!!


Sajid Javid resigns after Boris admits 'mistake' promoting Pincher

Sajid Javid has stepped down as Health Secretary following Boris Johnson's apology over the promotion of MP Chris Pincher.

He said: "I have spoken to the Prime Minister to tender my resignation as Secretary of State for Health & Social Care.

"It has been an enormous privilege to serve in this role, but I regret that I can no longer continue in good conscience."

 

The nasty sleaze party is imploding .

Rishi Sunak's departure and as being chancellor ,the most senior post is a clear sign that this party cannot govern for much longer . Confidence amongst Tory MPs and voters is at an all time low .

In my view a general election is now needed .

 

Prime Minister's questions at lunchtime today is going to the most interesting spectacle !!!

 

Yes I am looking forward to it .

I still think he will hang on as long as he can as he will know that the Tories are in their weakest position and to call a General Election will be the end of this Tory Government.

I dont think a change of leader will repair the damage .With Rishi Sunak resigning and obviously distancing himself now from the Government will be a prime candidate. I think even he is damaged goods .I dont see anyone else having the credentials .

I still dont think Labour are strong enough on their own to win a General Election but maybe a coalition government perhaps with the Liberals and possibly the Greens as they will win seats from the Tories in the South leaving Labour to win seats in the North .

The next General Election possibly before the year end will be one of the most interesting ones as the mood of the electorate has clearly changed over the catalogue of failings of the Government. The PM has ben lucky to survive this long with the Ukraine Crisis being a significant distraction until now as the media coverage has quietened down as the Russians as said they would do will win the Donbas region .

 

I for one will be looking forward to it with relish !!!
