Communism is stupid. It's only a small step on the road to Socialism (which might work if humans weren't basically assholes). It oppressed millions, killed millions, and of course, failed. Democracy is stupid. Sure, it lasted a long time but its own corruption is bringing it down. Monarchy is stupid. One person in charge based on his birth? Doesn't that describe GW Bush? Government is stupid. And far too many of you would cry like little children without it.
Everything is stupid, I like the idea behind anarchy, not bound by enforced rules, free in your own actions. Its true that most people as it stands now cannot deal with this freedom, but for me its still a nice thing to dream of, maybe in the far future..
I really don't understand what people mean when they say 'anarchy doesn't work'... Capitalism or communism don't seem to work for a whole lot of people... I dunno. It depends what's important to you. If it's important to efficiently mass produce loads consumer crap, then I guess it's not all that great. But if freedom and survival are more important to you you might want to give it some more thought.
Anarchy for me is equality and coexistence. Everyone works together for survival. I like the idea of communes made up of like minded individuals. Commune A eats meat Commune B is made up of vegetarians...and they may disagree, but they respect each others views. That's my anarchy...I believe in it, but we'd have to start from scratch. I just wish people would do some research, before they talked about anarchy, because it doesn't mean fucking chaos and just because it's in the dictionary doesn't make it true. eace:Crystal Revelation
Want to know why anarchy doesn't work compared to other systems, look at Somalia. Freedom and survival are the antitheses of anarchy, when there is a power vacuum, the person with the bigger stick will try to close that vacuum
From my understanding Green Revolution is pretty dead on. Anarchist philosophy is against signing documents, contracts, and general law. That's what's meant by "compulsory" rule. Which is basically being coerced to act in a way that goes against your will. There can still be organization within an anarchist framework. Such as going on a wild game hunt. It wouldn't be something that you are forced to do, but is an activity undertaken based on the principle of necessity. So therefore there is "organization" based on the collective free will of people. Only problem with Anarchy is a large population. Small communities of intelligent people can do fine with technology. Large cities + a lot of dumb people + disinformation = trouble.
