There are a few ways that our current government could be brought to change its ways a large turn out in November that turned out all the incumbents national, state, local would be one.
A nation wide general strike day would be another. The internet gives us enough communication ability to pick a given day, publicize it, and then have everyone who wanted peace and an end to the American empire call in sick.
A number of other acts of civil disobedience could be done this way - hell we fucked up the Democratic Nation Convention in 68 with telephone calls, underground newspapers and memo graph machines.
A lot could be done if more people moved into activism and communicated on a worldwide scale.
