An Oddity of time

About 7 years ago - I started chatting to someone on this forum, and ending up meeting up with them for a dinner-time chat; which was nice although brief.

Today, under different circumstances (at a Pagan meet up group) I was introduced to a member, whom I had yet to meet - as the conversation went along certain comments and visually, I could sense my memory bytes being stimulated and sure enough, a period of time, now non-dreadlocked hair, two moves (up/down the country) it was they

Funny how things play on/in life ............... or was it destined to be?

Sounds like it's destined. So what happened? Any dates?

 

That's really trippy. No opinion but it does make you wonder about destiny.

 

vonnigut wrote a book, i think it was the one with the ice nine. about how we all have this small group of people, not all of them friends, and almost none of them related in any direct and obvious way, that we just keep running into over and over again, in the least expected places, times and circumstances. people we don't even know or know anything about can be part of it. most of them even are. i think he coined the term 'karas' or something like that. it's been ages since i read it. i don't know if there's a group like that in my life. there probably is. well not exactly IN my life. that's just the thing. there's people that you know, or have met or will meet, and some of them could be part of it. but most are people you don't really know, and probably never will. its not a direct threat. it wouldn't be what it is if it were. but individuals who might be aren't excluded from it either.

and you know, like with kharma, this same group might be with you in past and future lives. which would be really odd for me, because i'm sure mine were on other planets in other solar systems, maybe even different galaxies.
