how can that be fair?

so by that reckoning a car with a V6 engine thats driven say 3000 miles a year is evil and should be banned, but a civic thats driven 20,000 miles a year is ok?

add tax to fuel, you pay directly relating to how much you use, and cant evade it..

people like cars, people deride great pleasure from cars, and its quite justifiable to have a large car if you are reasonable about its use.

the large car driven 30,000 miles a year with one occupant in it is what needs to end, but say that person likes that car? why shouldn't they be alowd to drive it free from hassle by people with little or no understanding of these issues iif they chooose a more environmentaly friendly method of transport for their day to day needs? card sont pollute while they are parked, its simply ignorant to want to force everyone into small vehicles, they may be unsuitable for their needs, and most of all, they are generaly unplesant.

why not lobby the motor industry to produce small executive cars? asside form the audi A2, none exist.
