Maybe so, but that is not certain to be a bad thing. He might have needed to do what he did in order to learn something. And there is always the next show, and another chance.
But in the end, if you try your best, and you don't do everything right, that is all you can ask for anyway.
The fact that you make no mistakes does not guarantee success.
As Captain Jean Luc Picard said, " It is possible to make no mistakes and still lose, that is life."

Ideas live because men and women believe them
No idea is worth dying for but some ideas are worth fighting for
nothing is so sacred that mankind should not give it up in mankinds best interest.
If an idea is prominent in society it may be one which its best to hold on to - in the end that will be decided by how much that idea damages or aids human survival.
The real debate is not some bourgeois philosophical get together but a decision about the human race. The bourgeois will attack and defend ideas regardless of their use to mankind
when the food is scarce let religion solve that or let religion die and follow an idea that will feed people - if there is war and religion doesnt solve how to end it - join an idea that will solve the problem of how to end war
choose your own morality but for cryin out loud : whats the point of believing god lives if god is useless

Yes, functionally god is usless, and should be held out for all to see as such. There is no god that created everything. Thats rubbish

Occam is an agnostic and believes this is the exact position we now exist in.
    It's all up to us.

However, even as an agnostic, occam believes that the reality we exist in.
Was in some way directed to result in conscious life. Not by some stupid idea of an omnipotent god. But by others that came before us.
And thus we gain one small comfort. It may mean little to many.
But to occam it means quite a lot. We are not alone.

Aliens?. there are no aliens within the set . 'Self aware rational beings'
    We all are one

To me it sounds like a stupid question. 'does God exist?' If you think God either does or doesn't, you would have to know what God is. Do you? If you think God is a big man with a white beard who lives up in the sky, you're not going to see any evidence of him. what you think of as god might not exist, but this does not necessarily mean that god doesnt exist, just that you don't know what god is.
