@AjayO I do love it when that happens. It has been awhile, the mundane reality always is a drag on being totally conscious. I do love it when the candle blows out, the page turns and you realize that everything is p e r f e c t Thank you for the smile
It could be that you are seeking excitement of sorts but whatever exciting environment you may be in, it will eventually get saturated. Your own consciousness is a good source of joy and bliss if you can bring it to its natural state, and without any need for weakening and expensive intoxicants like drugs or alcohol which just create addictions or tanha . Happiness is self-generated as the mind becomes still. As we become involved with the desires of the world, we lose that centering, that stillness. ~ Dr. Frederick Lenz Nothing can make you happier than you are. All search for happiness is misery and leads to more misery. The only happiness worth the name is the natural happiness of conscious being. ~ Nisargadatta Maharaj Thank you for the kind words. It is everyone's natural state, and with a bit of focus and diligence, waiting to be discovered as a prize within. The monsoons have hit India, and am enjoying the rainfall and sounds peacefully with a hot cup of tea, in deep zen and mindfulness.
enlightenment is not a copyright of name brand flavors of belief. if anything they are a concielment and distraction from it. what long is calling the robot mind, is the social mind, which hates logic. and without logic you can't avoid causing harm. that any belief can take the complete place of it is really the big lie. enlightenment is when consideration is second nature. it is consideration that without which there is only tyranny, and tyranny is close enough to hell for me. affection, even affection for spirit things is all fine and well, but it is consideration and logic in the service of consideration, that makes a heaven a heaven and the lack of it, a hell.
