Her breakthrough hit was about struggling with alcoholism and not wanting to go to rehab.

Either way you look at it; her fans, herself, and her critics are all fucked.

The only ones that get out of this clean are the ones that say "who's that?"

Her personal demons were celebrated by the tabloids because there is money to be made from voyeurism and a sick need to see others fail, but thats not the reason she became famous. Amy Winehouse was a talented musician that actually had a real fan base, people that genuinely loved her music and are saddened by the fact she won't be putting out any new music.

That same line of logic would have to apply to any musician thats ever succumbed to drugs...jimi hendrix, janis joplin, kurt cobain..who are they?
