I don't know if anyone else has started an Amy Coney Barrett thread. So I'll start one now. (If you read this at some future date, she was President Trump's Supreme Court nominee in October of 2020. Yeah, we're all trying to forget it now too.) And I will start the discussion by telling you what I just heard on Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO. Ms. Barrett belongs to a religious cult. Here's an article: https://www.washingtonpost.com/inve...497d8c-0781-11eb-859b-f9c27abe638d_story.html I am not trying to stir up emotion of any kind. But shouldn't they be talking about this more? Especially at her Senate confirmation hearing? That is the only article I could find for now. Also not mentioned in the article, but mentioned by Bill Maher, is the fact, the group (called the 'People of Praise') believe it is the husband's job to correct his wife, should she go astray. I'm just reporting the facts. But this is the Amy Coney Barrett thread. So you need not dwell on that, if you don't wish to. Thoughts?
