    depends on how steep the hill is. yes its actually a boat race, but the idea of racing cups doesn't sound boring to me at all. you could race them in something like a gravitram. that would be absolutely fascinating.

    you know, designing cups specifically to be raced. like formula one. with the only qualifier being that you'd also have to be able to drink out of them.

    Cost to taxpayers, about $22 to $44 million; which may or may not be made up by revenue generated.

    Few teams could afford to compete this year.
    Billionaires playing games.

    They should build longships and race those. That'd be a spectacle. And like every half an hour you have to pull up to anther ship and board and attack it and the winner gets to keep sailing and the loser is out.
    Now that's the shit right there. Somebody pay me a million dollars for that idea please.
