Kamala and the Democrats failed they lost to a clown plain and simple they. Keep backing losers that can’t beat a moron
I happen to like nothing revolutionary and more of the same--since our country's economy is the strongest in the world, we enjoyed a republic governed by the rule of law, and America was making real progress in the area of social justice. In other words, America was great. You and voters/non-voters like you will have to learn the hard way not to be suckered by a con man. Then maybe you can figure out what to do about it, and make America normal again. Life is real, life is earnest!
Tell that to the people who are fighting to keep food on the table and might be losing their housing because the price has gone through the roof. God forbid they have to go to the hospital or have any other disaster living pay check to pay check. There is a reason trump won the majority of people making under 100 thousand because those people are struggling and want revolutionary ideas not tinkering around the edges of a broken system. They should’ve been democrat voters but the party abandoned them to maga and far right propaganda they failed the people
I'm sure the thousands of people the lying pricks are getting fired will agree with you. By the billionaires, for the billionaires is on the way. They can't wait to get their hands on social security money. There's not enough money in the world for those pricks---they want it all!!
That’s the worst part people voted for the opposite of what they wanted and shits just going to get worse now
As soon as the judiciary is ignored ( happening) and overwhelmed and NOTHING ever happens to trump and musk-----Situation accomplished--democracy destroyed.
It's hard to admit that the voting public can't tell a responsible candidate from a con man. But there it is. The losers aren't the Democratic nominations, the losers are the voters who don't know their -ss from a hole in the ground.
Looks like the City of Los Angeles has a budget shortfall of $ One Billion Dollars. Trouble is Con men are grifting accross our entire governments. The $35 Trillion in debt is the biggest Con of all, eclipsing the actions of any single individual. Yes voters are the losers.
So everyone complains that the Democrats had no message for the working class, they're losers, they need new leaders, etc. But they never tell us how the message was wrong, or what the message should be, or who would be a better leader than the Republicans put forth and why. They seem to think the Dems need someone like Trump, Vance, Musk, and Mike Johnson. But they never say why. So what should the Democratic message be, in detail please?
Money out of politics, Medicare for all, anti war there is obviously more but these three should be the major focus they all poll well and are simple to understand. They need to find someone that people actually believe otherwise it does not matter and hammer every media not just focusing on the ones favorable to them already
Let's remember it was the republicans who got Citizens United through the Supreme Court. Citizens United created super PACS which allow the wealthiest people and organizations to spend unlimited funds on candidate's campaigns. In addition the donations may be hidden until after an election. The largest single contribution to candidates in the 2024 election was $10 million given to MAGA Inc. by billionaire Diane Hendricks, Howard Lutnick, and Paul Singer, gave $5 million each to MAGA Inc. Annette Simmons, gave $2 million to MAGA Inc. Warren Stephens, gave $1 million to MAGA Inc. Jeff Yass and Richard Uihlein each gave the conservative super PAC Club for Growth Action $5 million. Elon Musk's America PAC spent more than $137.7 million to get Trump elected. The Democrats originally opposed super PACS but gave in once they realized they couldn't survive without them. Harris rejected money from corporate PACS and lobbyists and discouraged single-candidate PACS. So the Democrats tried to get unlimited money out of politics...but the voting public didn't care.
Medicare for all? Republican President Theodore Roosevelt tried that in 1912, he lost the election. President Franklin Roosevelt tried it in 1935. Medicare for All was introduced by Democratic Representative John Conyers in 2003. Independent Bernie Sanders introduced it in 2017. It was co-sponsors by...guess who? Democrats Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren and Kirsten Gillibrand. Democrat Pramila Jayapal reintroduced it in 2019. So the Democrats (and one Republican who lost) tried that. The voting public didn't care.
Anti war? Trump wants to give Ukraine to Putin, Annex Canada, Take over the Panama canal, Use the military to take over Greenland, Level Gaza and build resorts, Allow the invasion of Mexico, And he is black mailing Europe into spending more money on arms: His foreign policies are endangering NATO (which has kept the peace in Europe since 1949) and causing Europe to spend $862 billion to rearm with conventional and nuclear weapons. Germany is rearming, even Sweden and Denmark are calling for nuclear weapons. Trump is real anti war...not. Look for a revival, at the least, of another cold war with renewed emphasis on weapons and nuclear missiles. ...and the voting public didn't care.

OK. Well we do not have to provide a tax write off to these donations. The $5 donation of the individual citizen is dwarfed by the big donors. So how about the rights of the $5 Donor that is drowned out by big donors?
Medicare for all? President Obama reduced some work requirements for Medicaid. The recent reinstatement of those work requirements for the able bodied is a current issue in politics. Healthy recipients are required to do 30 hours of work a week. Its good for healthy people to fund a social security account for themselves for the future.
I can find nothing that states that Obama reduced any work requirements for Medicare. However in Trump's first term he encouraged state Medicaid agencies to adopt work and community engagement requirements. Only two states have implemented Medicaid work requirements. Arkansas required it from June 2018 to March 2019. Medicaid beneficiaries ages 19 to 49 had to report 80 hours of approved work or community engagement each month. Georgia implemented a plan in June 2023.
