Doesn't surprise me in the least. Who reads any more? Too busy stumbling around looking at little machines checking on the Kardashians or remarking how cute someone is, I suppose.

 

I thought this one was funny. I've personally dispatched drivers to the underground bases hundreds of times, and in particular to this one in Kansas City, and you wouldn't believe how often this comes up with the drivers. We employ three drivers right now who are born and raised in MO, who have themselves personally delivered there, who are convinced that these underground bases are proof that we are going to be nuked out of existence any time now; meanwhile all that is needed to get inside is a CDL license and a well kept log book, and of course your BOL's for delivery. I've come against harsher and more restrictive security when picking up or delivering at Boeing.

So either it's set up to invoke fear just like everything else, or people in socal really are that stupid. Which is possible, I've been there. It's a beautiful place but even less grounded in reality than the biggest coastal party spots in Florida.

Mark Dice did a piece last year where he drove slowly past the long lines of Black Friday Christmas shoppers waiting for the stores to open and insulted them.

This year he should put on a Santa costume and go to the same Black Friday throngs and get them to sign a petition that legally throws away their freedom. He could even offer the added bonus of giving a shopping discount if they sign the petition.

 

We don't really know what he had written on the petition. People may have been reading rather than listening. We don't know how many people didn't sign. He seemed to be using the same vocal suggestion techniques as a mentalist, trickster - like Derren Brown. Emphasising POLICE PROTECTION SAFE and de-emphasising STATE NAZI etc. People tend to turn off when filling in petitions, don't they? It does show that you should pay attention.

Officials say a 13-year-old boy who was carrying a replica assault weapon was shot and killed in California.

SANTA ROSA, Calif. — A 13-year-old California boy carrying a replica of an assault rifle was shot and killed by sheriff's deputies who believed the gun was real, a local newspaper reported.

The incident took place in the Northern California community of Santa Rosa on Tuesday.

In California, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office could not immediately be reached to confirm the details of the incident involving the 13-year-old, saying in a press release only that deputies had shot and killed "an unidentified male" carrying a replica of an assault weapon.

The press release did not identify that person as a juvenile. But the child's father, Rodrigo Lopez, told the Santa Rosa Press Democrat that the person killed was his son, Andy, who he said had been carrying a toy gun.
