I don't think so. Although the twin ideas of isolationalism/exceptionalism and inherent goodness would severely handicap the capacity to think of citizens of any political state whatsoever.

But it's the price you pay for hegemony over multi-polarity.

I disagree. I find that Westerners as a whole are pretty ill-informed. I mean, whether you live in the US, Australia or the UK, the culture is pretty much the same. And now that the education system is being standardized across the world via UNESCO, I don't see how Americans can be that much different than any other Westerner whose been given the same indoctrination.

The people of the Amazon.... now those are people who understand the meaning of life.

This does not help improve my perception on the intelligence of Americans, did you know that the sampler, a popular tool of hip hop music, is an Australian invention?

Where did you hear that from? My parents never taught me that.

I don't believe in the biblical version of creationism, but I DO believe in creation, and I DO reject the Darwinian theory as it has been disproven by archeology and science alike.

It's easy to understand the meaning of life when your concerns are to get through the day without Diphtheria and Typhoid.

You survive till the ripe age of 45 and you're content.

    Lifes more complicated in luxury.

Well they're right when they say Americans have a limited education, your english is very good for some one that was only ever formally taught evolution but i wonder what your maths skills would be like.
