Are there any "hams" here? I would like soon to step up to a ICOM 705 with bracket for antenna. I am mostly a portable radio person.
I mostly use 11Meters.. I need new coax as the end behind my radio isnt good...... I have an Imax 2000 . My whip got snapped off by a branch in high winds a few years back so I just got a replacement whip for it....
KO4ZHU Icom 718 & 2m Yaesu 2980, with a 102' G5RV hung in an 'inverted V' in the trees. Couple of Baofeng HT's, too. 2m can be packaged in a 'to-go' box, with a 20 ah battery and a roll-up J pole that fits in the top of the box, and a 30w solar panel. 73.
