amateur hour: first thread edition

Hi there :mickey: My names Kelsey, im from Ohio. Im 19 years old, and Im new to this. I love to play soccer, read (especially Harry Potter), write, shmoke and dab, hula hoop, adventure in the woods, and see my girl Lucy from time to time. The last 2 years of my life have been my rebellious teenage years. I spent them breaking down the morals and beliefs that were almost forced upon me by my parents and my teachers. Im just now starting to understand who I am, and what it is i actually believe. Ive always been an extremely kind, caring and sensitive person, but im really hoping to expand further on opening my mind to more and more things, and on my own spirituality.

As for Columbus? Yep! I was there from July 31-August 2, 2010. Not a bad time, really. Just wish I could've got back from their downtown area to my hotel near the airport a LOT faster though.

I have a question for you: what is it like growing up gay (i'm assuming you are ?) in Ohio ? Is it like no problem at all or is it at least awkward when the topic comes up ? I've always lived in France so i'm genuinely interested to know how it is abroad !
