lol i was just kidding. i said that because someone remarked on the stupidity of that phrase earlier on in the thread lol i love Clueless. I watched it the other day for the first time in years, figuring that since i'm a grown up now I would find it stupid, but nope..i still love it. I think the slang in Clueless was meant to be ironic, however. I thought Diablo Cody actually did a good job with the slang in Juno, for the most part it was relatively current. I've heard plenty of 17 year olds talk like that. And by plenty, I mean the one 17 year old I know that interns at my work on school vacations, lol....but he really does talk like that.
I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it either... I suppose there were some likable things about it. And Ghostbusters is a great film.
Ghostbusters would have been better if Belushi had been in it. You can clearly tell that Bill Murry's part was written for and by John.
Yea, John and Dan Aykroyd started writing Ghostbusters awhile before John died. From wikipedia; Dan Aykroyd wrote the roles of Dr. Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters and Emmett Fitz-Hume in Spies Like Us with Belushi in mind, and the roles were actually played by Belushi's former SNL castmates Bill Murray and Chevy Chase, respectively.
It's for teeny boppers; to them Juno the character girl is cool and smart. Dontcha get it?? let the kids look up to somebody and stop putting sh*t down.
Ever since I saw Juno, I cannot pull myself to watch any movie with Michael Serra in it. I guess that just stems from my closed minded side of me.
i just saw this movie for the first time friday night. all i can say about it is...:ack2: ellen page was a half way decent actress in 'an american crime' and, 'hard candy.' i fear that the real ellen page has been kidnapped by a ufo and, an alien clone has taken place here on earth!
Completely agreed. Had some cute moments. Mostly unrealistic derivative drivel. Wanted JD from Heathers to pop in and kill them all by the end of the movie.
