Okay so I have been wondering lately if I could be classified as an Asexual. But I don't think I fit the average qualities of one? Though, I have been seeing allot of different qualities that don't normal go with the original term of asexual and still qualify as that. Some things are that I think normally qualify that apply to me are:

    -No need for sex
-Don't really feel in the mood ever
    -Prefer closeness over sex

But others that I have been told, or shown to not matter to the term are:

-will have sex if partner asks
    -masturbate
    -find sex attractive
    -read romance/smut/sex stories

So I'm wondering. Am I asexual? Because I just really could live without it, but I have sex with my partner for their pleasure and mine.

Maybe you should just live your life without labels? Who cares if you are or not anyway you are what you are. Don't waste your time trying to fit into a particular genre/group/label, be you instead.

Yea I guess your right! It's just everyone around me is always trying to figure it out I guess? They ask me all the time about my sex like and I'm always pretty "meh" about it so they call me asexual. But I think your right.

Going with Irm, what's it matter? Enjoy the things you do in life, labels are nothing if we don't worry about it.

    Don't let others define you.
If having a label is positive for you, embrace it.
If not, rock on with yourself, label free!

But if this is a technicality, I'd say, somewhere near that on the spectrum. And I'd suggest we all move on spectrums throughout our lives.

Also, lack of desire can be connected to health issues, drugs, supplements and medications, etc.
