So my day was pretty fucked! It started when I went out to meet this escort as soon as I get to where she told me she would be she says she needs to step out for a GODDAMN HOUR and see some other guy. At that point id already spent $40 on an uber to go see this chick so I was like whatever I'll wait it out, about an hour and a half later the girl hasn't shown up and isn't responding to my texts and isn't answering her goddamn cellphone. But whatever I'm close to where she said her house was (I was waiting out the hour at a nearby McDonald's) so I start heading over to her house. as soon as I start getting close to her house she calls me and says I'm no longer at the McDonald's, something I had been trying to tell her about except she wasn't picking up her phone, so she says to wait at the street sign and she will come meet me. I end up waiting another half hour and she never shows up so I go on trying to find her place but I get completely lost and she still won't answer her motherfucking cell phone, so I'm forced to give up on her. Iv already spent the majority of my day waiting around for this no show and I don't wanna go home with nothing to show for it so instead of cutting my loses I call you a second girl and spend $18 more on another uber and I get to this hotel. So the girl I'm meeting here hasn't told me her room number so again I'm stuck playing the waiting gameI'm forced to wait another 20mins before the girl finally texts back with her room number. so after my day I'm pretty frustrated, actually pissed the fuck off is probably a better description and I just wanna meet up get off and go home. so I FINALLY meet this girl and she's alright not super hot or anything but not bad anyway we get down to it and I'm not getting off, like AT ALL and the girl becomes noticebly frustrated and this is wear I become an asshole, she starts using her hands to try and get me off but she does this while I have a condom on and at some point I notice she accidentally tore the damn thing so I tell her to turn over don't tell her the condom is ripped and cum in her now after my day all the shit iv had to put up with how shitty was I ACTUALLY BEING how big off an asshole AM I! Hope this made some coherent sense hopefully it's not to ramble I tried to tell the whole story so as to give you a better picture of my state of mind by the end so ya

$40 for an uber? that, like most things, doesn't exist around here, but i had assumed that it was much cheaper than a standard taxi. otherwise, what's the point?

 

About what you pay for getting from Manhattan to JFK. Regular cabs will charge flat rate of somewhere around $50 - 55

I had to go from parkland to Miramar which is about 30 miles that is why the uber was so expensive

its just a means of transportation, whats the benefit of a taxi over uber? either way gets you to the same place and uber can be POTENTIALLY cheaper

 

i don't know. i really don't know anything about uber. i just kind of assumed there must be some benefit to using a professional over an amateur.

 

There usually is. Just not where it comes to a lot of taxi drivers :-D

 

It's about $10-15 cheaper in the example I posted. On top of that the taxi is a flat fare so it's actually not metering which could be higher.

 

I agree with Glen's response. You should be worried for both of you, not just her. Get yourself tested, and stop sleeping with hookers.

 

I never bother with Uber becuase it's only about 20% cheaper, which is pretty lame considering they the owners don't pay for taxi licenses.
