Alternatives to outdoors

Nudism and Naturism are often used interchangeably. Most public venues that allow nudity are outdoors. People go to nude beaches, take nude hikes and nudist resorts really promote their outdoor activities.

Why aren't their more indoor nudist options? If there are please share. Honestly, I avoid the sun to minimize my chances of skin cancer. So, more indoor activities would be great. A gaming complex (think Dave and Busters in the U.S.) is the first thing that comes to mind. A place with bowling, pool, video games, go karts, etc. Maybe a theater could have a nude movie night. States with legalized gambling could have nude casinos. I suspect some savvy entrepreneur could make some money with something like this.

 

i was a member of a non landed nudist club. We rented out an indoor swimming pool twice a month during the winter. another time we rented out a whole exercise facility for our nude gatherings indoors.
Both were great, lots of participation by all

 

This is a great idea especially for areas where summer is too short.

Good point. A low pressure atmosphere where we are more focused on the thing we are doing (playing pool or games, bowling, etc) and less focused on what our friends are (not) wearing.

 

I think that going to places that combine both possibilities is the best potential situation. I have been in naturists centres/campings where you can have outdoors and also indoors. I must say that the idea of an indoor swimming pool in winter with a good heating sounds fantastic.

A sauna which is just more comfortable without swimwear, likewise swimming.

 

I live in conservative Florida and I have not found a family friendly clothing optional sauna.

Walt Disney World used to have one at the old Disney Institute, but that is long gone.

 

When I was in college, there was a local nudist group that would rent out a nearby health club with a pool during the winter months for nude swimming and recreation evenings. I enjoyed going to those and wish there was something like that where I live now.
