if you want something useful, practical and real, check out www.sierrasolar.com and order their free catalogue. if you want inspiring concepts read cristopher swan's yv88. and finaly 13% biomass+15%nuke+31%wind/solar+41%moderate scale hydro=0% oil and coal. there is no totaly free energy but this is entirely realistic and doable. reducing human firtility accross the board and of course reducing per capita consumption always helps too. (that 15% nuke is maximum btw and could likely be reduced to zero or near it as well by increasing the % of everything else which are realistic and entirely achievable minimums. the fossil fuel (and automotive) industries are today's robber barrons, and have us conned, and conned it is! there is nothing good about gasoline, it isn't that old, and it is tax dollars that are keeping it artificialy as cheep as it is at the very real cost of health and lives all over the planet
