Well, I suppose this can be for guys too, but doesn't it feel great when you take care of a problem yourself? Like anything a lot of folks would get a professional to handle. I rarely drive my car, I'm usually in someone else's or biking, but this can cause my emergency brake to "freeze" even though I don't engage it. Anyways, this happened last night and I was stressing out about it, thinking I might have to get a mechanic or something because it wasn't breaking loose like it usually does. But today I jacked up my car and took the tire off and was able to access the brake and loosen it. I sprayed some WD-40 on it and it works fine now. Yay!
