Have you ever gotten a 12-hour trip off of one LSD tab?

 

It is possible of course. It is hard to define when the trip ends, since it slowly diminishes over time. I had a trip off one hit that kicked my ass.

People can probably tell you're on drugs if they are looking for it, yes. You could wear sunglasses if it's worrying to you but usually people don't go to the beach or theme parks looking for people on acid.

 

Beach. Why would you want to waste acid at universal studios :\

your pupils might be one of the last things that give you away; the first being you acting very high, confused, lost, staring into space, talking to yourself, touching things, smiling at nothing, giggling at inanimate objects, etc

 

Honestly, it'll be on a marching band field trip to Florida LOL, so there will be chaperones hanging out with us. I'll be sure to pack sunglasses. It is very very difficult finding a good time to trip living with your conservative family while still in high school. Anyway, if one of the elders notices I'm tripping due to pupil dilation I could always blame medication.

So I'm planning on doing my first acid trip this weekend, and I just want a few pointers from people who know what's up.

So, I'm getting two tabs. They're supposed to be 80 micros a piece. I'm 15, 5'8", and like 170 lbs. and I want to trip balls. I have been diagnosed with depression but I've gained a few coping skills since then. I am currently not on any medicine. I mean I wanna just get so gone but still maintain a good experience you know?.

The only things I've ever tried before are ganja and salvia (20x). I've been smoking weed for about 8 months now, and I tried salvia a little while back.

So my main questions are:
- How much do I take?.
- Should I try a weaker hallucinogen first?.
- If I start to have a bad trip, what do I do?.
- Is there any way I can sway what I see at all?.
- How long will my trip last?.
- In a general sense, how will it make me feel?.
- Am I gonna be super depressed the next day/following days?.

 

15 is a little young to me to fully appreciate the LSD experience but at least you are truthful with your intentions and not trying to justify your use in the name of some more altruistic cause...

You already did salvia, which I find quite a bit stronger but LSD lasts for ~12 hours it's a good and different trip. Also not everyone has heavy salvia trips initially nor does everyone know how to smoke Salvia, so I don't want to lead on any expectations of what LSD will be like for you in terms of intensity. Don't hold any expectations about it but it's a great psychedelic to experiment with if you want.

Change your setting (music, room, get a drink of water, take off/put on an article of clothing, etc) just let it come over you and ride it out.

A lighter dose will make you feel pretty good and a head in the clouds kind of feeling, but not drifty and relaxed like pot, LSD is a more stimulating, energetic and captivating feeling (everything seems new like if you had never seen it before) heavier trips tend to have a much more rapid sway of emotions and mindstate.

You may feel sort of burnt out but you shouldn't feel depressed, you may actually even feel better than you normally do which is referred to as an afterglow.

hey guys. im 15, never done drugs, get good grades, trying to get into a good college. been pretty depressed lately, someone talked to me about doing acid for they dont do any other drug anymore. can someone tell me any/all possible long term effects of doing this drug? will my grades be the same in school?

 

Its hard to tell the long term effects of acid because the vast majority (everyone ive known who has used acid) use other drugs as well. The only effect Ive noticed consistently in alot of acid heads is a very short attention span and somewhat jumbled language. Sometimes acid heads seem to stutter more too.

It shouldn't really effect your school work but like I said ive never known anyone to strictly use acid (usually at least pot and/or alcohol) but apparently you do, regardless I'd be more worried about where you go from LSD. Hallucinogens like LSD produce markedly different effects between each trip so some don't like hallucinogens and turn to drugs of abuse that produce more consistent effects. But there are many here who use hallucinogens pretty frequently as well and like the variance in trips. Either way you Honestly probably won't flunk out of school but for the vast majority of people it will cause one to slip a bit in their studies and its quite common to get wrapped up in drugs (including alcohol) once you start.

 

hi im 15 and my mate and i are thinking of buying some acid and taking in in a meadow setting, is this a suitable place for acid?
Also i want to maintain my good grades will acid mess them up? (ive smoked a fair bit of pot before)
how much should i take (tabs) for A) beginning effects(not threshold) B) more of a spiritual journey ( i meditate alot and want to try it on acid)

 

Sandoz Delysid (LSD 25) D-lysergic acid diethylamide tartrate
Sugar-coated tablets containing 0.025 mg. (25 ug.) Ampoules of 1 ml. containing 0.1 mg. (100 ug.) for oral administration.
The solution may also be injected s.c. or i.v. The effect is identical with that of oral administration but sets in more rapidly.
INDICATIONS AND DOSAGE
a) Analytical psychotherapy, to elicit release of repressed material and provide mental relaxation, particularly in anxiety states and obsessional neuroses. The initial dose is 25 ug. (1/4 of an ampoule or 1 tablet). This dose is increased at each treatment by 25 ug. until the optimum dose (usually between 50 and 200 ug.) is found. The individual treatments are best given at intervals of one week.
b) Experimental studies on the nature of psychoses: By taking Delysid himself, the psychiatrist is able to gain an insight in the world of ideas and sensations of mental patients. Delysid can also be used to induce model psychoses of short duration in normal subjects, thus facilitating studies on the pathogenesis of mental disease.
In normal subjects, doses of 25 to 75 ug. are generally sufficient to produce a hallucinatory psychosis (on an average 1 ug./kg. body weight). In certain forms of psychosis and in chronic alcoholism, higher doses are necessary (2 to 4 ug./kg. body weight).

ANTIDOTE ~ The mental effects of Delysid can be rapidly reversed by the i.m. administration of 50 mg. chlorpromazine.

i find that even if you have bad personal issues, acid puts you in a frame of mind where if you think about it enough, you can solve it, and it wont be such a hassle to you on your trip. I get a lot of epiffany's on acid, of how to alter issues in life, i guess everyone trips differently. it's best to trip with someone else, some one you're close to. acid gives you a temporary telepathic feeling (depending on your trip and your energy) and if you can share that with someone else, it makes the trip a lot less worrying than alone. (for starters anyway)

 

try taking some benzodiazepines- anxiolytics(alprazolam, diazepam, any short acting bzd),10mg/6hr PO ...whatever has gaba mimetic properties.... barbiturates are not as safe as they cause more respiratory depression... and also all of these drugs may help contol your anxiety but they may also lower your seizure threshold... so if you have epilepsy or history of seizures i dont recommend taking them
